expect from the Trump Administration in Washington as well as the challenges mine operators may experience when politics and reality cross in terms of MSHA regulation and enforcement.

Ron Lehmann Originally from Hollywood, FL, Ron spent his teenage years writing novels and filming movie shorts with his brother. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Miami majoring in English with minors in history and French. After completing graduate work in literature at the University of Chicago, Ron studied graphic design, painting and futures trading while moonlighting as a business writer and newsletter designer. After discovering the joy of acting, Ron decided to enroll in the film school at Columbia College Chicago, minoring in theater. He won first and second place awards in the college’s annual screenwriting contest. By his final year, he had scripted, directed and completed eight original short films and had appeared as either lead or supporting character. Ron interned in the development department at Beacon Pictures in Santa Monica, CA. He has greatly expanded his acting resume since he moved to Los Angeles and remains a prolific writer, most recently completing 85 short scripts for a comedy webisode series. He has published short stories, as well as nonfiction, winning an award for a textbook on hazardous wastes from the Chicago chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. As an actor, he has appeared in over a hundred short films, webisodes, and videos, has had “under-5” and co-star roles in four Indie feature films . He has also studied on-camera commercial acting.
