MSHA Reform: 3 ways to work with the agency to improve health and safety – Donna Pryor and Mark Savit

Presentation Abstract
This workshop will address three initiatives that are being brought forward to create a better, more productive and cooperative relationship with MSHA, furthering our joint goal of improved miner safety and health.  The initiatives address modernizing the regulations, helping MSHA enforce regulations that focus on individual miner actions (like wearing seatbelts) and rewarding companies that have excellent compliance and safety records.

All interested mine personnel should attend.  We all need to be part of these efforts.
